DKN Design are a husband and wife team who both love renovating and property. Having lived in 11 different houses over 2 countries they know how to utilise various spaces.

Daniel and Krstina are the names behind the design and together they bring a wealth of experience and the contacts to create truly magnificent spaces that are functional, beautiful and won't cost a fortune.

With a passion for renovation, an eye for detail, training in financial management, design and carpentry - they are the perfect team to tackle any renovation project

OUR TEAM
Daniel Nicolai
Daniel started his career in the automotive trade as an apprentice mechanic back in 2003, after realizing it was not what he wanted he moved into retail management and then onto passive fire protection.
After renovating his own house and helping family renovate theirs on a budget, and through years of building furniture as a hobby, he decided to pursue what he really loved had a passion for and changed careers into carpentry.

Daniel's retail management background allow him to treat his customers differently then other 'tradies', his focus is delivering a product that is on time, under budget and always with the customer in mind!
Krstina Nicolai
Krstina studied Economics & Marketing at the University of Sydney University. After completing her degree , she joined a marketing graduate program at Unilever where she continued to advance for 7 years, becoming a Brand Manger for leading Homecare brands.
Whilst she always had a fine eye and design aesthetic, it wasn't until she renovated her own home that she realised there could be more to this. She enrolled in a design course and decided to further develop her expertise. Krstina's financial experience managing multi-million dollar brands ensures that the dollars are accounted for and well spent.
